Yeah- I never said I could draw.....
but I hope you enjoy my doodling. I actually just doodle in "Paint", the very basic drawing program that is standard on PCs. It puts limitations on what I can create- but I like a challenge!

10,000? Wow, that's a lot of lakes.... er... what qualifies as a lake in Minnesota? Are there any size or depth restrictions? Can anyone apply to have any body of water designated a lake, for instance? Who counted them all?
The link I posted from Wikipedia says that a lake covers at least 10 acres. the DNR takes care of counting and tracking the lakes. They have a lot of information on lakes: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/lakes/index.html
